She currently resides in Westerville, Ohio where she enjoys teaching privately, spending time with her family, son Felix (yes…named after Mendelssohn), husband David, and their two rescue dogs Bridget and Goofy. In addition to Stephanie’s studies and performance in viola, she has an extensive background in ballet from 1997-2008 at Irveline’s Ballet School in Columbus, Ohio and modern dance from Case Western Reserve University’s Mather Dance Center, Department of Theater and Dance from 2008-2012 in Cleveland, Ohio. Her ABME sponsoring teacher is Bay Area flutist and Alexander Technique teacher Amy Likar.

Stephanie is also a member and trainee of The Association for Body Mapping Education (ABME) working to fulfill her certification in teaching Body Mapping. Her primary teachers include Carol Rodland, Jeffery Irvine, Kirsten Docter, Lynne Ramsey, and her mother Deborah Barrett Price. Stephanie received a Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music with a certificate in Arts Leadership and a Bachelor of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she was the recipient of the Alumni Jim Hall Graduate Studies Scholarship. The debut album release is anticipated for the summer of 2022. Stephanie is the founding violist in the KASA Quartet, winners of the 2017 Coltman National Chamber Music Competition. Stephanie has been a performing artist at the Caroga Lake Music Festival (CLMF) since its founding in 2012 and went on tour to Switzerland with CLMF and CMC in 2017. She has performed recitals in the United States and Europe, notably at the Kennedy Center, Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome, and on National Public Radio’s From the Top! series. Stephanie also has a private studio and is the Adjunct Viola Professor at Ohio University.

She is currently the Assistant Artistic Director and Fellowship Program Director of the award winning Chamber Music Connection program based in Worthington, Ohio. Stephanie Price-Wong grew up in a musical and arts administrative family that instilled and nurtured her passion in the art, performance, and education of chamber music.
